Coed Wern Uchaf is a mixed broadleaf woodland with a diverse range of tree species, divided into two areas. The mature section has a complete canopy with minimal undergrowth, making it easy to walk through. The younger section, located under power lines, is denser and can be cleared or paths created. A stream marks the northern boundary, which separates it from Coed Wern Isaf. The woodland has good access from a minor road, and includes sporting and mineral rights. There are some restrictions on planting and construction near power lines and an underground gas pipeline, but these areas can be used for alternative purposes such as tree nurseries, fruit trees, or beekeeping. The woodland is located near Carmarthen, Llansteffan beach, and Laugharne, and is suitable for one planet development. Viewings are welcome, but please take care when visiting as the woodland can be hazardous.
