Coed yr Adlais is a woodland located in the grounds of the former Abergele chest hospital, now an eye hospital, and spans the Gele Gorge. The woodland features a 315-foot long, 96-foot tall bridge named "The Echo Bridge", which is accessible by a newly refurbished track suitable for cars. The woodland covers a mix of mature larch and coniferous trees to the east and newly replanted coniferous trees to the west, with a riverine area featuring Ash, Beech, and other broadleaves. The woodland is home to a variety of wildlife including deer, voles, and badgers, and has multiple tracks and access points, including a pedestrian path that leads from above the bridge to a "plateau" with views over the woodland and bridge. The woodland is intersected by the Afon Gele, which carves through the property into three main sections.
