Land

The property is a parcel of ancient beech woodland known as Badger Wood, located near Sheffield, just south of the M1 motorway. The woodland is part of the larger Loscar Wood, a remnant of ancient woodland in the area, and is dominated by beech, sycamore, and mature ash trees, with a lower canopy of birch, hazel, holly, and pine. The woodland has undergone a thinning program and the planting of native hedging and a wildlife pond, and features a range of flora and fauna, including bluebells, wood anemone, and Eurasian jays. The site is well-drained and mostly flat, with gated access via a hard track, and a network of rides and paths throughout.
