The proposed residential development scheme consists of 7 detached houses and associated infrastructure works, including a new access from Lower Blandford Road. The project began with an initial outline planning application in January 2022 for 13 dwellings, which was later revised to 7 larger detached houses following consultation with the Planning Officer. After an appeal was lodged in October 2023, the scheme was upheld in February 2024, with permission subject to 10 conditions. The development will include all open market dwellings, as well as highways, drainage, infrastructure, and landscaping works.
