Trelorgan Wood is a traditional native woodland of mixed hardwood species situated alongside a little-used country lane fronting the River Bedalder. The woodland includes the river bank and a tarmac lane that follows the river. It features a diverse range of native broadleaved trees, including oak, beech, birch, and hazel. The river supports a variety of wildlife, including trout, otters, and kingfishers. The woodland has old charcoal making platforms, evidence of small-scale forestry projects, and opportunities for sustainable timber and firewood production. Access is via a tarmac country lane, with a good hardstanding and pedestrian track within the woodland, offering the opportunity for forest bathing, hammocking, and other relaxing activities.
