Land

Sable Wood is a woodland on the outskirts of Farnham, comprising Scots pine, oak, birch, rowan, chestnut, Norway spruce, Amelanchier, honeysuckle, and holly trees. The woodland floor is covered with bilberry, heather, mosses, and broom. Public access is permitted on well-defined footpaths, and the woodland is surrounded by private land and neighbouring Forestry Commission woodland. It is bordered by a fence on three sides.
