Land

The property is a 172.83-acre (69.95 hectares) block of productive arable land located between the villages of Bergh Apton and Thurton in Norfolk. The land is classified as Grade 2 and 3 by DEFRA and is characterized by deep fine loamy soils with slowly permeable subsoils and slight seasonal waterlogging, making it well-suited for winter cereals and sugar beet. The land is laid out into seven easily worked fields and has a history of being farmed using a rotation of winter crops.
