The Fryslan is a 23m Dutch Luxemotor barge built in 1931 with traditional riveted steel hull. It has a 1965 DAF 575 engine with 120hp, a ZF electrical gearbox, and a cruising speed of 5 knots. The boat is well-insulated, with Kingspan flooring and bilge access throughout, and is heated by a Webasto/Spheros 20kW boiler. It features a wheelhouse with commanding views, a lounge and kitchen area, a mid-ship bedroom, a master bedroom, a bathroom, and a back cabin with utility area. Onboard systems include a 75T hoist, secure onshore storage, electricity and water supplies, and a fuel station. The marina offers parking, onshore washing, shower and toilet amenities, and convenient access to the town centre and train station.
