Balbaird Farm and the Land at Catherie extend to approximately 50.61 Ha (125.06 Acres) in total, forming two well-configured mixed farming units across three separate land parcels. The Land at Catherie, which extends to 22.91 Ha (56.61 Acres), is mostly arable land with a small area of pasture. The land includes a 15.71 Ha (38.82 Acres) parcel, Lot 2, located about 2 miles east of Balbaird and accessed via a shared private road from the A915. This land is classified as Grade 3.2 and is used for growing a range of crops. The land has a slight northernly aspect, rising from 133m to 145m above sea level, and benefits from good access for field-to-field movement. The farmland is divided into three separate parcels, with a total of 4 land parcels forming the overall estate.
