The site includes two areas, Lots 2 & 3, with 7.6 hectares (18.77 acres) of land, which have granted planning permission in principle for up to 150 homes. The site is irregularly shaped, bounded by the River Clyde, a road, and woodland, and features a collection of farm buildings and the B Listed Garrion Tower, which is under separate ownership. The site has various areas of concrete hard standing and former greenhouses, and is located on the edge of Garrion Bridge, a village situated between Larkhall and Carluke.
