Land

The property consists of a productive block of arable land situated in a 91.52-acre (37.04 hectares) single block southeast of the house and yard. The land, divided into three level fields, has rich, productive peaty soils ideal for arable and root cropping, and has historically been used for cereals, sugar beet, and potatoes. The soil classification is Grade 2, with soils primarily described as Adventurers 2 series, characterized as deep peat soils over variable subsoils. A small young coppice woodland was planted in 2017 to the east of the land, offering opportunities for continued agricultural production or potential environmental initiatives.
