Portmore Estate is a highly desirable Scottish Estate covering 3,459 acres. The estate centers on Portmore House, a Category A-Listed country house built in 1850, featuring red sandstone construction, a central tower, turrets, crow step gables, and sash and case windows. The principal reception rooms and bedrooms are arranged over three floors, with period features including wood panelling, cornicing, panelled doors, and fireplaces. The estate also includes outbuildings, a partly covered cobbled courtyard, and various cottages, including Primrose Cottage, Hillhead Cottage, and Portmore Lodge. Additionally, the estate features a walled garden, a Victorian glasshouse, a parterre, parkland fields, mature deciduous woodlands, farmland, and hill ground, as well as a reservoir. The farming enterprise is run from Boreland Farm, which lies to the south of Portmore House.
