The property is a block of historic mixed woodland covering approximately 12.76 acres, situated in a rural position on the edge of the Quantock Hills by the historic village of Holford. The woodland comprises a mix of ancient oak and broadleaf woods, including dense woodland and woodland pasture, with three distinct areas: Alfoxton Wood, Oyle's Wood, and Withing Wood. Oyle's Wood features a stream, a haven for aquatic wildlife, and includes a beautiful waterfall that is a feature on historic postcards. The woodland also contains veteran oaks, field maple, and holly, with a diverse variety of trees throughout.
