Land

The property, Coed Rhoswen, is a beautiful broadleaf woodland located in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, on the side of the Cynfal valley. The woodland is sloping, with steep sections, and levelling off towards the northern upper end. A track, partly stoned, provides access to all parts of the wood through two points of entry off the adjoining road. The woodland is home to a wide range of broadleaved trees, including oak, hazel, rowan, crab apple, cherry, beech, and scots pine, with approximately 40% of the wood consisting of sweet chestnut. A dry stone wall, fences, and stone walls define the boundaries of the woodland, which also features a variety of wildlife, including butterflies and birds such as blackcap and chiffchaff. Two paths originating from a main track provide access to most parts of the woodland, with old maps suggesting a grid of paths existed historically. The woodland has sporting rights and mineral rights included.
