Carminow Wood is an 8-acre woodland with 2 large wildlife ponds located at the south-eastern edge of the old Braddon estate. The woodland features a good variety of native broadleaved trees, including oak, hornbeam, sweet chestnut, ash, willow, hazel, and alder. The private parking area leads to the ponds, where there are two rustic picnic benches and a grassy ride through the centre of the trees. The woodland has a mix of open areas and dense woodland, with a fringe of dense woodland along the eastern edge.
