The land at Donkleywood is a rural holding of 188.05 acres (76.11 hectares) comprised of about 3.5 acres of permanent grassland and 184.55 acres of woodland, with the majority of the land suitable for livestock grazing due to its natural shelter and grazing potential. The land is predominantly Grade 5 soils with mixed types and natural watercourses, and has stone walls and livestock fencing in good condition forming the boundaries.
