The property is an 18.01-acre block of historic mixed woodland situated on the edge of the Quantock Hills, near the village of Holford. The woodland is a site of scientific interest, comprising a mix of ancient oak and broadleaf woods, including dense woodland and woodland pasture, with three distinct areas: Alfoxton Wood, Oyle's Wood, and Withing Wood. The woodland features a beautiful waterfall in Holford Glen Valley, surrounded by a stream running across the western boundary. The various woodlands offer a diverse range of tree species, including veteran oaks, field maple, and holly.
