Land

The property at Cranes Farm consists of 216.98 acres of land, broken down into 186.66 acres of arable land, 26.8 acres of pasture, and 3.52 acres of woodland. The land is classified as Grade 3 and is farmed in a rotation of barley, wheat, and beans. Water is provided to the fields and a strip of land to the south, previously a small plane landing strip, is also included. The property is entered into a mid-tier Countryside Stewardship Scheme and an sfi scheme, with the land currently farmed in winter oats and a wild bird seed mixture.
