Land

The property, known as Lindors Wood, consists of two lots totaling 104.60 acres (42.33 ha) of commercial woodland. The woodland is subdivided into two blocks: Lot 1, St Margaret's Grove, covering 36.35 acres (14.71 ha), and Lot 2, Allen's Grove, covering 68.25 acres (27.62 ha). The woodland is managed commercially for timber production and is stocked with a mix of conifer and broadleaf species, with a ratio of approximately 60:40 conifer to broadleaf. The land is situated in the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and has a mix of gently sloping and steeper terrain. The soil type is described as freely draining slightly acid loamy soils, and the land cover is typically neutral and acid pastures and deciduous woodlands. The woodland has a western aspect and a typical elevation range of 50m to 100m above sea level.
