Rosal Wood is situated in a remote area of north Scotland, accessible via the B871 from the west or east, and lies approximately two hours north of Inverness. The property borders extensive woodland areas to the south, with a forest road running through it to point D. The road network surrounding the property includes a designated consultation route through the Timber Transport Forum. A small area of forest road to the east, marked at point B on the map, also forms part of the sale, although the owners to the south have use rights over this road.
