The property is a 1.48-acre (0.60-hectare) woodland with established hazel coppice, situated in a gentle southwestern slope. The land is generally level, with a dense understorey of hazel, and is dominated by ash and oak trees. The woodland is surrounded by agricultural land and offers views of the wider undulating landscape. A stream runs through the southern part of the coppice, and the area is rich in ground flora, including dog's mercury, early dog-violet, and bluebell.
