The arable land is classified as Grade 1 and is of the Adventurers Soil Series, with a rotation that includes cereals, potatoes, and sugar beet. The land is extensively under-drained and bounded by drainage ditches. The farm includes a modern machinery storage building (120ft x 60ft) and a timber framed cart shed (70ft x 25ft).
