The Brent Moor & Dockwell Ridge Estate is situated on the southern side of Dartmoor National Park, close to the village of Didworthy and the larger village of South Brent. The estate is a 2,754.35-acre freehold moorland estate with sporting rights, consisting of rolling wild moorland, including the upper reaches of the River Avon, and other streams and brooks. The estate incorporates a variety of natural features, including tors, hills, barrows, and ruins, including Black Tor, Hickley Plain, and Knatta Barrow. It also includes Dartmoor's iconic wild ponies, rare birds, and rare archaeological sites, such as prehistoric stone rows and Bronze Age sites.
