The Fintry Bay wood plantation is a 40.39-acre mixed broadleaf woodland located on the west of the Isle of Cumbrae, approximately 3 miles north of Millport. The land rises from 3m to 59m above sea level and is bounded by fencing on the north, south, and east sides, with a public road to the west. The woodland provides nesting sites and shelter for birds and other wildlife, and includes fallen and standing timber, as well as rights of access exercisable under the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003. The property also includes a 3.23-acre miscellaneous/foreshore area.
