Boniface Wood is an expansive area of semi-natural broadleaf woodland located on the outskirts of Canterbury. The woodland features impressive well-spaced oak trees in the north, while younger hornbeam coppice dominates the southern section, creating a striking contrast in character. A mix of beech, birch, hawthorn, chestnut, holly, and hazel trees add to the woodland's diversity. A wide track from the northeast boundary leads to a generous clearing with basic storage and shelter, from which a network of rides and paths leads deeper into the woodland. The woodland receives filtered light through its high canopy and, despite its proximity to the A2, remains private and peaceful.
