Fryarne Park Wood is a 30-acre ancient English woodland within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The woodland features a majestic canopy of towering oak and beech trees, as well as holly, birch, hornbeam, and chestnut coppice of various ages. The ground is mostly flat and clear, with numerous open glades and a few veteran trees allowing light to filter through. A large badger sett is located in the southeastern corner, and the woodland is home to various wildlife, including deer and badgers. The western boundary extends beyond power lines, offering potential for further access.
