The site is a vacant plot on the main road through the village of Pinchbeck, approximately 2.25 miles north of the center of Spalding. The village has several amenities, including shops, a doctor's surgery, a public house, a village hall, and a primary school. Spalding has further amenities, including primary and secondary schools, a bus station, and a train station, and is connected to regional and national transport links through the A16 road and the Peterborough to Lincoln rail line.
