The south Wark beat on the River Tweed is a prime salmon fishery with approximately 1.4 miles of left bank fishing on the Scottish side. The beat includes 7 named pools, with Ferrystream and Willows being the most prolific, as well as the Wall, The Cuddy Hole, and The North Temple, which can hold large numbers of fish. The beat is normally fished with 2 rods, although 3 may be used on occasion, and one or two boatmen are available until September. Three boats are included in the sale, and the vast majority of fish are caught on the fly. The beat also includes a small modern fishing hut and a small boatman's hut, with access via a track through Fireburnmill Farm to the riverbank.
