Selattyn Hill Wood is a large, single-aged woodland located on the summit of Selattyn Hill, overlooking the village. It contains a stone tower that is believed to be a folly within a former local estate. The wood is primarily composed of A13 improved Sitka spruce, planted in 2007, which is growing well with good leader extension. In some areas, remnants of the original tree crop remain, particularly in the northern corner of the wood near a public footpath.
