Land

The site is a cleared and level area of land located in a riverside setting, bordered by the River Trent to the west and existing housing to the south. Commercial uses, including a retail park and Aldi supermarket, occupy the eastern side. Access is provided from Cow Lane at the site's north-western corner. The site's boundaries are secured by an 8 foot high concrete post and chain link fence, except for a section partly surfaced with concrete slab in the northern part.
