Nestled in the rolling Pembrokeshire countryside, this group of four stone agricultural barns has been granted planning permission to be converted into three contemporary homes, each with a unique design by Nicola Chan Studio. The site, which spans approximately one acre, is surrounded by woodland and lies within the Pembrokeshire National Coast Park, just three miles north of Pembroke. The plans aim to restore the barns with a light touch, retaining their character and complementing them with new planting. Each new home will have a long lateral layout, with open-plan living, kitchen, and dining spaces, and will feature a refined material palette and abundant natural light. The outdoor spaces will be designed by ML Landscape Design, incorporating herbaceous perennials, wildflower beds, and lawned areas to create different microclimates and improve biodiversity. The area offers a range of outdoor activities, fine dining and drinking opportunities, and is well-connected to nearby towns and cities, including Pembroke, Cardiff, Bristol, and London.
