Ashen Coppice is a beautiful stretch of ancient woodland within the High Weald National Landscape, featuring a charming stream and two large natural ponds. A network of rides and access tracks provides excellent vehicle access for management, as well as defined paths for walking. The terrain is varied, with steeper ground near the stream and easier crossing areas leading to a large pond and open glade. The woodland is dominated by a diverse range of species, including oak, hazel, birch, and yew, supporting a thriving ecosystem and attracting wildlife such as deer. The southern boundary adjoins open farmland and several footpaths, offering lovely views and access to the wood.
