The cabin has a timber frame, insulation, an oak floor, and full-height windows and doors that open onto the veranda, offering views over the woods and ponds. The woodland is comprised of native deciduous tree species, including Mountain Ash, oak, beech, and native ash, with a series of interlinked ponds.
