Land

The land is located off Scoreby Lane on the south east edge of the village of Gate Helmsley, York. It is a 10.90 acre (4.41 hectare) field, comprising approximately 8.37 acres of grassland and 2.54 acres of woodland. The land is classified as Grade 2 and has deep stoneless permeable fine sandy soils, suitable for cereals, root cropping, and grassland. The boundaries are predominantly post and rail fenced, with a ditch marking the west boundary, and are accessed from Scoreby Lane via a field gate. A metal trough provides a nearby water supply.
