Coed Mawreddog is a delightful woodland located in rural Carmarthenshire, Wales, situated 5 miles west of Llandovery and accessible through a private gated entrance. The mature woodland is a mix of larch, Douglas fir, and oak, with fertile loamy and rocky soils, and features a variety of tree species, including large Douglas fir with potential for timber yield. The woodland is home to a range of wildlife, including birds, mammals, and insects, and has a network of cleared trails allowing access to different areas. A level grassy area near the northwest corner is suitable for camping, with scenic views of the surrounding countryside. The woodland requires some management, including annual vegetation clearance and possible trail enhancements, and has potential for on-site milling of Douglas fir and beech.
