Land

The land at Gallows Hill spans approximately 47.26 acres, with 35.97 acres of arable land and 11.29 acres of former quarry land. The arable land has direct access to the B1113 and is adjacent to the Lion Barn Industrial Estate. The soil is listed under the Ludford Soil Association and is well-suited for farming cereals, sugar beet, and some horticultural crops. The former quarry land has been restored and includes a designated Historic Landfill Site, with an existing bridge crossing the Great Eastern Main Line. The site has a wide tarmacked bell mouth entrance that allows HGV access to the property.
