Parkhouse Farm is a mixed farming unit with approximately 125.56 hectares (310.26 acres) of arable and permanent pasture land situated between the River Esk and the Liddel Water. The farm is accessed via a private road and has two modern farm buildings, including a general purpose shed (36.20m x 17.70m) and a cattle shed (27.60m x 21.0m), which are connected to mains water and electricity. The land is classified as Grade 3.1, 3.2, and 4.2 by the James Hutton Institute and has a mix of arable and permanent pasture with several areas of woodland, including riparian ownership extending along the River Esk and partially along the Liddel Water.
